Seems like a lot of amazing looking figures are going up for pre-order during my holiday break from work, and while I've managed to avoid pre-ordering ALL of them, Vertex has come and put my 2020 budget into a bit of a deficit already with the latest entry in their Elf Village series of original character figures. Priscilla, the 4th character in the series, is an extremely thicc traveling priestess with a body that would make even Super Sonico feel jealous. It didn't take long looking at the product images to cement my pre-order. All I needed to decide was weather or not I would get Antenna Shop Limited edition on Amiami or take advantage of the new year points promotion on TOM for the regular edition. Before I get into that, let's take a closer look at her. Merry Halloween Christmas! Just another quick preview during this holiday season. This time courtesy of the GSC blog , it's Rem from Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World, but a Halloween version!  I must admit I don't know a thing from this world or another world even, that includes not even a passing familiarity with Rem and Ram from this series. I know they're really popular... and are maids or something? Well, they're in maid outfits a lot as figures and in artwork so that's what I'm going to go with.  I haven't been that interested in figures from this show because while they're cute they haven't appealed to my tastes really, but this one certainly does! It's the fangs! So cute, and also her long gloves, bodice and thigh high stockings. What a cool outfit. I'm also a fan of this red white and purple color combination. It looks really cool! It's been pretty busy around here with end of year work and travel arrangements and also the ongoing process of swapping my office and the master bedroom for what will ultimately be enough figure display space to keep me in this hobby for the next five years or so.  I feel bad for the lack of updates but now that I'm on vacation I can at least do a post about an upcoming figure I'm excited about, the next in Wave's line of swimsuit gals from the popular mobile game Azur Lane, Admiral Hipper-class Heavy Cruiser KMS Prinz Eugen. Behold! What a cutie. Actually the first SSR ship I built in Azur Lane and the first premium outfit I bought with gems earned from the story mode. Been a while since I posted a figure review but I'm back with a few thoughts and photos of Mordred from Fate/Apocrypha which is an.... anime... I think?  I'm familiar with FGO the phone game but beyond that I don't know much about the Fate series as a whole. I think it was visual novels, and then an anime, and then the phone game but like I said I don't know much about it. Anyway, what I do know is that the characters are VERY popular and I like a lot of the designs, including this really cool looking Mordred from Aquamarine.  This is a re-run of a figure that came out a few years ago and this time I wasn't about to let her pass me by again, so I did the right thing and ordered her on some points from TOM . I really like the cocky grin they gave her in this figure.  Like I said, I don't know much about the character but it seems to suit her attitude and pose.
