Dark Elf Village 1st Villager Natigal 1/6 Scale (Vertex) Pre-Orders Open 3/26/21

Vertex has finally revealed the images for the first figure in their upcoming original character series, Dark Elf Village. This villager, named Natigal, looks to be modeled after the dancer archetype common in many fantasy JRPGs. I think she looks pretty cool except for her face, which has kind of an odd expression. Generally the Antenna Shop limited edition variants have had alternate faces, so I'm hopeful that the alternate face will be an improvement, but either way this is one of my more anticipated figures of the past couple of years so I will either be ordering the standard version from TOM to close out my points (since they have basically butchered their free shipping promo and made it pointless to shop at their site now) or from Amiami to get the limited version with the (hopefully) better face. This looks to be a really cool start to a new line of elf figures, and honestly I'm ready for a change because the as of yet un-released elves from the standard Elf Village line

Faerie Queen Elaine Standard Ver. 1/5 Scale (Native) - Figure Review

It feels like a lifetime ago that I posted a preview for this figure once it was announced by Native. The world was definitely in a different place then, and perhaps I was as well in regards to this website and also the figure hobby in general. The past year has seen a real slow down in my figure acquisitions, for budgetary reasons and also logistical problems around shipping from Japan. I did still receive a couple of figures however, and Faerie Queen Elaine based on the original character illustration by Tony Taka was one of them.  Just a heads up, in a previous NSFW review I had the castoff pics on a separate linked page but here they're just further down on this page. I remember posting the promotional shots on reddit after she was released, and there and also on MFC people were pretty indifferent to both this figure and Tony's art.
