Pre-orders are open on multiple sites for yet another Chiyo figure from the Manga Ane Naru Mono. Having read the non-hentai manga recently, it's safe to say that this figure is based on some stand-alone art or art from the hentai which is the original source material for this character. As I mentioned in my Summer Wonfes 2019 post , I really love Chiyo so it's hard to not at least take a look at this figure even if I'm not planning on ordering this particular rendition of her. Chiyo is shown here reclining, with one hand and one of her hair feelers looped under the bottom of her standard outfit.  I think on this figure more than some of the others I've seen the color accents on her fur, hooves, and feelers are a lot more saturated, which really makes them pop. She looks just crammed into her outfit here and ready to pop out.  I'm not absolutely in love with how they did her face here, but it's recognizably her and could be worse. Overall I think it'

Wonder Festival, or Wonfes, happened this weekend. The bi-annual figure showcase is pretty much the E3 of figure collecting, giving collectors a sneak peak at items that may not come out for years or ever even.  The past few Wonfes have seemed kinda samey to me; that is to say the only items that really jump out at me are Fate/Grand Order figures and lewd nonsense from Native and Skytube that I'm very unlikely to ever buy. Still, even if there isn't that much for me personally, it's still fun to check the blogs and twitter and see what all is in the pipeline. This is old news by now but It's worth saying that Native's Miss Orangette, based on art by Iida Pochi (of Ane Naru Mono) is open for pre-order on Native's site and a few other sites that resell Native figures such as Nippon-Yasan.com .  I went a little crazy for Ane Naru Mono after seeing the Chiyo figures for the first time as prototypes so it's no surprise that I'm pretty hyped for this figure. I've really liked her art since I first saw it. I'm struggling to remember when it might have been, but I think it was just a preview for one of the Ane Naru Mono figures based on Chiyo from a previous wonfes. Once I saw that I was sold. Her miss Orangette figure isn't based on a doujin or manga as far as I can tell, but she's a pretty cool looking figure. There's a lot going on in this figure. Welcome to the inaugural post on Plastic-Love! I decided to make it a figure review, since I hope this will be the bulk of the original material I produce for the site. It's going to take a lot of work (and also money) but I hope I'd like to do something like this at least once a month and then have some different kinds of posts between reviews, maybe closer to what I've seen other figure blogs doing: e.g. posting a lot of previews and pre-order updates basically lifted from Japanese hobby sites.
