Ane Naru Mono Chiyo Demon Style 1/6 Scale Figure Pre-orders are Open (NSFW)

Pre-orders are open on multiple sites for yet another Chiyo figure from the Manga Ane Naru Mono. Having read the non-hentai manga recently, it's safe to say that this figure is based on some stand-alone art or art from the hentai which is the original source material for this character. As I mentioned in my Summer Wonfes 2019 post, I really love Chiyo so it's hard to not at least take a look at this figure even if I'm not planning on ordering this particular rendition of her.


Chiyo is shown here reclining, with one hand and one of her hair feelers looped under the bottom of her standard outfit.  I think on this figure more than some of the others I've seen the color accents on her fur, hooves, and feelers are a lot more saturated, which really makes them pop. She looks just crammed into her outfit here and ready to pop out.  I'm not absolutely in love with how they did her face here, but it's recognizably her and could be worse.

Overall I think it's a great looking figure or one of my favorite characters that seems to be getting a lot of attention right now.  1/6 scale is nice and as I mentioned in my Nami review it's nice when a figure is in a pose other than just standing because it gives you a lot more options for display.  That said, this figure is probably a bit too horny for my collection. Nice to look at here, but probably not so nice in my house.











Chiyo Demon Style is scheduled to release December of this year, with a list price of  21,780 JPY.  Amiami has a limited exclusive which includes an A2 clear poster.

Faerie Queen Elaine Standard Ver. 1/5 Scale (Native) - Figure Review

It feels like a lifetime ago that I posted a preview for this figure once it was announced by Native. The world was definitely in a different place then, and perhaps I was as well in regards to this website and also the figure hobby in general. The past year has seen a real slow down in my figure acquisitions, for budgetary reasons and also logistical problems around shipping from Japan. I did still receive a couple of figures however, and Faerie Queen Elaine based on the original character illustration by Tony Taka was one of them.  Just a heads up, in a previous NSFW review I had the castoff pics on a separate linked page but here they're just further down on this page. Hello again! Today I would like to do the first of what I expect will be a series of shop reviews covering the best shops to order anime figures and other goods from if you live in the United States.  There are a lot of options when it comes to shops to buy from, so I hope this information can be useful to both new and veteran collectors.  The first shop I'll be talking about is one that I've been shopping with A LOT over the past two years or so: Tokyo Otaku Mode .  My hope is to answer the following question for you: Is Tokyo Otaku Mode a good shop to order anime figures from?
